After training for four years as a civil engineering draftsman, Daniel Keller went on to complete his studies of architecture at the University of Applied Science in Muttenz and graduated in 2000 under Professor Michael Alder.

While he was still studying, he joined Burckhardt+Partner in 1999 and began to familiarize himself with the area of project development by making searches for building land and properties. In the years that followed, he built up and extended the project development sector at Burckhardt+Partner AG. In this capacity, he handled a large number of feasibility studies in the areas of residential properties, retirement homes, services and commerce. At the same time, he shared responsibility for the development of a number of major projects which have now been completed in Basel and the surrounding area.

From 2003 to 2009, he was a representative of beneficiaries on the Board of Trustees of the B+P Staff Welfare Foundation.

He has been a member of the company management since 2010 and as head of project development is responsible for this sector at the different sites.
