New production bay Sika Sarnafil SSU Line 3

Sika Sarnafil Manufacturing AG of Düdingen is extending its film production facility with a third production line. The building constructed by B+P Bern is adjusted in its dimensions to the new production facility (Extruder Technology). This gives a bay with a length of 90 m, a width of 20 m and a height of 9 or 20 m.

Having regard to the nearby residential area special criteria have been placed on acoustic insulation and sound reflection. The lead-time until commissioning of the new production line necessitated very rapid construction work.

The planned cost targets and deadlines were met in full by the B+P Bern team.
