The Unique One office loft was planned and constructed for 500 employees in a mere nine months.

This unconventionally short construction time called for innovative solutions.

Unique One has a clear, unmistakable building structure. The two-storied office loft with its total surface area of 9500 square meters, its galleries and skylights reminds us of idle industrial halls. This creates a light-flooded, spatially differentiated, three-dimensional office landscape. A novel world of work is created for a cosmopolitan, dynamic, team-oriented company such as Unique.

The restaurant, designed by architect Pia Schmid, plays with various colors, materials and light. The resulting atmospheres contrast with the reserved, quiet office atmosphere. Some elements of this relax zone are found also at the communications points of the office landscape.

Everyone involved in the project – from the client’s team and the general contractor to all the planners – committed all their energies to the undertaking. This in conjunction with the exclusive use of prefabricated elements, were crucial to the success of this project in such record time.
