In Orbe, Nestlé has developed a global center of excellence for coffee. The new building for the production of Nespresso capsules represents the first phase of this competence center. The new production building encompasses four areas:
• Raw material storage
• Roasting lines and storage silos
• Packaging hall with shipping stations
• Laboratories, administration rooms for production and conference rooms
The realized project optimally fulfills the functional requirements, such as the flow of people and materials, the selection of materials, optimized workflows, supply and disposal. In addition, the building impresses with its architectural design and conveys the attributes of the Nespresso brand, such as exclusivity and quality, in exemplary fashion.
